Angel's Envy Bourbon Finished In Port Wine Barrels

Angel's Envy Kentucky Straight Bourbon is expertly finished in port wine casks, resulting in an award-winning spirit. Each batch is carefully crafted, with the bourbon blended in small batches of 8 to 12 barrels at a time to ensure quality and consistency.

Typically aged for up to six years, the bourbon loses approximately 5% of its volume annually due to evaporation, known as "the Angel’s Share." What remains after this aging process is a spirit truly worthy of envy.

Once the bourbon reaches its ideal maturity, it is transferred to ruby port wine casks for additional aging. This finishing process, which lasts between three to six months, imparts subtle flavor nuances that complement and enhance the whiskey without overpowering it.

The ruby port barrels used are made of French oak and imported directly from Portugal. This unique finishing technique contributes to the whiskey’s smoothness, sweetness, and exceptional balance.
