The Ardnamurchan ArdnAmerica Tour Bottling 2025 Peated Sauternes Cask is a limited edition, US-exclusive cask-strength single malt Scotch whisky, known for its complex blend of sweet, fruity notes and earthy peat smoke.

The 2025 release is a blend of 75% peated spirit and 25% unpeated spirit, combining three peated Sauternes barriques and one unpeated bourbon barrel.

• • ABV: 57.5% (Cask Strength)
• • Volume: 700 mL or 750 mL (depending on retailer)
• • Maturation: The peated spirit was initially in ex-bourbon barrels for about 3.5 years, then finished in Sauternes barriques for another 3 years. The unpeated spirit was aged for 8 years in ex-bourbon barrels.
• • Production: Limited release of only 900 bottles.
• • Nose: Notes of dried apricot, honey, and golden apple, broadening into caramel and vanilla ice cream, with a background of wet stone and a wisp of peat smoke.
• • Palate: A rich and punchy experience, with waves of crème brûlée, vanilla, and sweet peat to start. The peat is stronger on the palate than the nose, complemented by notes of wood spice, slate, and golden apple.
• • Finish: Quite sweet, with honey, Mandarin oranges, and lingering golden orchard fruits. There is a warm, slightly fizzy sensation from the peat and sweetness, with background notes of petrichor and wood smoke.
