About This Tequila
A high-proof, agave-forward reposado from one of Jalisco’s most respected tequila-producing families.
Exclusively selected for Barrel Shoppe, ArteNOM 1414 Single Barrel Reposado showcases the craftsmanship of Maestro Tequilero Sergio Cruz at El Ranchito (NOM 1414), home to the Vivanco family’s tequila-making legacy.
The Vivanco family has cultivated premium Blue Weber agave in the highlands of Arandas since at least 1929. Grown at 5,400 feet, the estate agave is slow-roasted in traditional brick ovens and fermented using wild yeast harvested directly from agave leaves.
Cruz incorporates the distinctive Mozart Method, a sonic harmonization technique pioneered at El Ranchito, during fermentation.
Aged for one full year in third-fill ex-bourbon barrels with the char completely removed, this reposado minimizes oak influence to preserve the natural character of the agave.
Bottled at an impressive 109.2 proof, this cask-strength single barrel delivers a rare opportunity to experience the Vivanco family’s traditional production methods with exceptional intensity and minimal barrel interference.
A distinctive Barrel Shoppe Exclusive for serious tequila enthusiasts and collectors.
Single barrel means this was bottled from one cask rather than blended. Uncommon in agave spirits, where almost everything is blended for consistency. How to read a single barrel label
