Blood Oath Pact No. 12 is the 2026 release in the annual Blood Oath series from master blender John Rempe.

This limited-edition bourbon combines 9-year and 12-year ryed bourbons with a 7-year ryed bourbon that was finished in both Montepulciano and Sangiovese Italian wine casks, creating one of the most wine-influenced Blood Oath releases to date.

Bottled at the series' signature 98.6 proof, Pact 12 delivers a balance of mature bourbon character and layered red-fruit complexity.

On the palate, Pact No. 12 is full-bodied and layered. Sweet flavors of toffee, maple syrup, and ripe cherries lead the way before transitioning into cinnamon, nutmeg, and well-integrated oak.

The whiskey balances sweetness and spice exceptionally well, allowing each sip to reveal new dimensions without overwhelming the palate.

The finish is long and warming, showcasing lingering notes of dark chocolate, leather, and seasoned oak with a touch of peppery spice. Despite its complexity, the bourbon remains approachable and remarkably cohesive.
