The oldest family owned estate producing Armagnac, has been distilling hand-crafted Armagnac since 1711 from vines planted on exceptional soil of light, tawny, marine sand with clay and shell sediments. Located in Grand-Bas-Armagnac, with an oceanic climate that is generally mild and humid. Growing baco, folle-blanche and colombard grapes. The Lacquy estate continues its tradition of excellence by overseeing every step of production.
One of the selection of single vintage Armagnacs from Château de Lacquy's extensive cellars. This particular expression was crafted exclusively using eaux-de-vie distilled in 1992, comprising of 80% Baco and 20% Ugni-Blanc grapes.
Nose: Full-bodied aroma.
Palate: Lovely, mild on the tongue with a slight burn at the end.
Finish: The finish is surprisingly long and warming.
