It is the oldest age-stated batch in the line since the 2023 release (for Elijah Craig Barrel Proof).

The shift: Prior to 2023 many ECBP (Elijah Craig Barrel Proof) releases carried a 12-year age statement; the brand moved to batch-specific age statements to allow more flexibility. Batch B525 shows they are still using relatively older barrels.
