• It’s part of Lost Lantern’s “Summer of Bourbon” collection of single casks from across the U.S., showcasing lesser-known distilleries and American bourbon outside the traditional regions.

• Nose: Brown sugar, caramel, vanilla extract, toffee, molasses — “rich brown sugar / caramel / vanilla extract / toffee / molasses” noted in a review. 

• Palate: Slightly tannic oak, bold rye spice, barrel char, leather, burnt toffee, baking spices. For example: “The palate is surprisingly gentle given the near-120 proof … creamy caramel and flirty levels of cinnamon spice."

• Finish: Rye spice lingers, charred oak, leather, green peppercorn in some notes, spicy and long.
