A distinctly luxurious expression of Kentucky bourbon, The Old Jett Brothers Single Barrel showcases the depth and character that can emerge from an extended secondary maturation. After its initial aging, this single barrel was finished for an extraordinary 54 months in Château Rieussec Sauternes barrels, allowing the bourbon to absorb layers of rich dessert-wine character while retaining its underlying Kentucky whiskey identity.

The result is an exceptionally expressive bourbon, with aromas of golden raisin, apricot, honey, vanilla and toasted oak leading into a rich palate of caramelized fruit, crème brûlée, orange marmalade, dark honey and baking spice. The extended Sauternes maturation brings a luxurious sweetness and remarkable depth, while the oak provides structure and balance. The finish is long, warming and decadent, with lingering notes of dried fruit, vanilla custard, toasted oak and sweet spice.
