Destilado de Agave – Aged in Amburana Barrels
From one of the last remaining independent founding families of tequila, Paladar stands as a homage to the enduring traditions of Mexico. The spirit is crafted from 7-year Blue Weber agave harvested from family-owned fields, slow-cooked in brick ovens, and open-air fermented in pine vats with a combination of wild and proprietary yeasts. Each batch is twice distilled in a copper and stainless steel pot blend, ensuring a balance of authenticity and refinement.
The Paladar Experimental Range represents a forward-looking interpretation of this ancient category. This particular expression rests for 2 months in ex-bourbon barrels before being finished for an additional 2 months in a large amburana wood cask, a traditional South American wood prized for its character. Each bottle is hand-dipped in volcanic soil from the agave fields, symbolizing its deep connection to the land.
About Amburana Wood
Amburana, native to Brazil, imparts a deep amber color and a unique aromatic bouquet of vanilla, nutmeg, and warm spice, while adding a subtle sweetness to the flavor profile.
