Subtle Spirits Stellar Bourbon Batch #2 is a carefully constructed Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey built around ten individual barrels sourced from four Kentucky heritage distilleries. Aged between 7 and 10 years, this second Stellar release was designed to deliver the depth and character of well-matured bourbon while maintaining an approachable, refined profile.

The component bourbons spent time aging in both Kentucky and California, developing layers of oak, caramelized sweetness, fruit, and baking spice. Rather than rushing the final proofing process, Subtle Spirits slowly brought the whiskey down to 95.2 proof (47.6% ABV) over the course of a full year, allowing the whiskey's flavors and texture to integrate naturally. After blending, the bourbon was given an additional six months of rest in tank before bottling.

The result is a remarkably balanced bourbon with an inviting combination of sweet, savory, and subtle spice. The nose opens with aromas of candy corn, cake donuts, brown butter, and ripe peach cobbler, followed by savory notes of nutmeg and cured oak. On the palate, the whiskey is smooth and easygoing, while retaining enough structure and oak-driven character to reward slower sipping.
