Westward Single Barrel Selection American Single Malt Whiskey Fog City Social Barrel 122.2 Proof 750ml

Discover Westward Single Barrel Selection American Single Malt Whiskey Finished in Imperial Hard Cider Casks, a distinctive whiskey that brings together Pacific Northwest malt whiskey craftsmanship and the character of imperial hard cider. Produced by Westward Whiskey in Portland, Oregon, this unique selection showcases the creative cask finishing that distinguishes American single malt whiskey.

Westward builds its signature whiskey from 100% malted barley, using an ale-inspired fermentation process and custom pot stills to create a rich, full-bodied spirit. Its traditional maturation in new American oak develops a foundation of malt, toasted oak, and spice before the influence of imperial hard cider casks adds another dimension to the whiskey's character.

The combination of American single malt whiskey and cider-seasoned casks offers an intriguing alternative to conventional bourbon and Scotch. The finishing casks bring the character of hard cider into the maturation process, creating a distinctive selection for enthusiasts interested in experimental barrel finishes and small-batch American whiskey.
