Celebrate the spirit of remembrance with Recuerdos, the fifth and final masterpiece in Clase Azul’s Día de Muertos limited-edition series.

Crafted under the direction of Master Distiller Viridiana Tinoco, this añejo tequila honors the memories that keep our loved ones alive—those shared moments, aromas, and flavors that linger long after they’re gone.

Each bottle of Recuerdos captures the soul of Día de Muertos through craftsmanship, symbolism, and extraordinary flavor. A portion of the agave is pit-cooked by hand, adding a layer of smoky depth to its elegant profile.

The tequila blends spirits aged 12 to 38 months in first-use American whiskey casks, creating a full-bodied expression with rich character and emotional warmth.

Tasting Notes

Color: Deep amber with golden highlights

Aroma: Cooked agave, smoked wood, orange peel, caramel, clove

Palate: Orange marmalade, toasted wood, warm spice (clove, cinnamon)

Finish: Long, lingering, and elegantly citrus-smoked

Decanter Design

The ivory ceramic decanter, illustrated by artist Erika Rivera, portrays a family ofrenda surrounded by marigolds, candles, sugar skulls, and papel picado—symbols of enduring love and remembrance. Each bottle features a 24-karat gold-plated locket handcrafted by artisans in Tesistán, Jalisco, containing a polished obsidian cameo framed by milagritos—tiny charms representing love, protection, and healing. Every ornament undergoes more than 50 steps and 12 hours of hand-finishing, making each decanter a collectible piece of art.
