Cocchi Barolo Chinato is one of the benchmark aromatized wines of Italy—rich, spiced, and deeply rooted in Piedmontese tradition.

Cocchi Barolo Chinato is an aromatized wine made from DOCG Barolo (Nebbiolo) that is infused with:

• Cinchona bark (quinine—signature chinato bitterness)

• Rhubarb root

• Gentian

• Cardamom

• A blend of other botanicals and warm spices

After maceration, it’s lightly sweetened and fortified, similar in process to vermouth but with Barolo as the base.
