Originally introduced in 1888 by I. Trager & Co. of Cincinnati, Ohio, Cream of Kentucky became one of America’s most celebrated bourbon brands throughout the 1930s and 1940s, with iconic advertising artwork by Norman Rockwell.

After disappearing during the Great Whiskey Bust of the 1970s, the brand was revived by legendary master distiller Jim Rutledge, formerly of Four Roses. Today, Cream of Kentucky continues its legacy with carefully selected single barrels that reflect Rutledge’s signature style.
