The decision to finish the rye whiskey in rum casks was driven by the ideal synergy between the bold, spicy character of rye and the rich, mellow sweetness of rum. After tasting over 100 different rums, the team found the perfect match, and the choice was unanimous.

The rye is aged for up to 18 months in Caribbean rum casks, resulting in a whiskey of remarkable complexity. The combination of the raw, earthy rye with the smooth sweetness from the rum cask finish creates a whiskey that is surprisingly smooth and highly drinkable, even at 100 proof.
