Lagrimas del Valle, or “Tears of the Valley”, is a vintage, single-estate tequila crafted to showcase the pure expression of terroir from some of Mexico’s most exceptional agave fields. The 2024 La Sabina Reposado hails from La Romita, Guanajuato at 1,760m elevation, where agaves ripen under dramatic highland conditions, achieving an impressive 37% Brix at harvest.

Produced in collaboration with the legendary Rosales family of Tequila Cascahuín (NOM 1123), this additive-free tequila is the result of both heritage and precision. Using a blend of roller mill (70%) and tahona (30%) crushing, the agave juice is fermented in stainless steel and open-air wooden tanks with fibers intact, then double-distilled. The agaves are cooked using an **intermittent method—8 hours per day for four days** developing layered complexity before resting in 3rd & 4th fill ex-bourbon barrels for three months. Bottled at a bold 46% ABV (92 proof), it delivers a full-bodied, unfiltered character that is unmistakably true to its source.
