What Is M&H Art & Craft DoppelBock

  • Series: It’s part of M&H’s Art & Craft line, which highlights “treasured” and very creative cask finishes. 

  • Whisky Type: Single malt — made from 100% malted barley. 

  • Cask / Maturation: Aged in ex-DoppelBock beer casks. Specifically, the barrels come from Ha’Aretz Brewery in Israel. 

  • Process: The story: M&H gave bourbon barrels to Ha’Aretz, they aged DoppelBock beer in them for ~4‑6 months, then those barrels were emptied and sent back to M&H to mature whisky for at least 3 years. 

  • Special Cask Note: One of the casks used in this edition spent a full year maturating in the Dead Sea warehouse of M&H. 

  • ABV: 58.3% ABV.
