These barrels are toasted—not charred—to carefully extract layers of warm baking spice, vanilla, and toasted oak without overwhelming tannins. The whiskey is then bottled at barrel strength with no chill filtration, preserving its bold character and velvety texture. Each batch is crafted to emphasize balance between the spice of rye and the smooth depth imparted by the toasting process.
